Firstly, the environment was very toxic in the branch I worked at specifically, mainly because of one employee who ruined my experience since he was a rude micromanager. He is the epitome of what bad management is. Secondly, there is lack of organization when it comes to task delegation; everyone is expected to know everything, which don't get me wrong, is a good thing, but it doesn't mean that employees should be taken advantage of and perform certain tasks they are not responsible for in the job description just because others don't want to do it. There is a big difference between throwing your tasks and responsibilities onto others and assisting employees with said task. Thirdly, the salary is pretty low and there are little to no benefits; only advantage was being able to leave early. Overall , based on my experience, while it was mainly a bad one, i still learned a lot. i learned the difference between good and bad management, and how one coworker can make or break your work experience. I certainly can't dismiss the fact that the rest of the employees were super nice and helpful, and upper management truly appreciated and acknowledged my positive attitude, work ethic, and my ability to handle responsibilities and be consistent with my performance . My advice is, leave that toxic job, it is not worth it. Your mental and physical well being are way more important, and never resign without securing a better offer or having another solid backup plan.
